I am a former chef who has spent a lot of time in the trenches – I started as a busboy and worked my way to the top in La Vergne, Smyrna, Brentwood, Franklin, Murfreesboro, Clarksville, Springfield, and Portland. After a recent trip to Asia, I was hooked by the street cuisine I found there. It was way better than the dirty-water hotdogs or mystery meat burgers you can find here. I was at the office slash warehouse, overseeing my manager, who was in turn, inspecting the quality of one huge batch of noodles. It was fixed after that, but only after I had some parts shipped from abroad.

I was unable to dip into the emergency funds, as I had recently replaced the engines of a couple of our delivery trucks.
